Softball: Owls clinch Conference USA regular season championship

The team becomes the first FAU program to win a Conference USA title.

Florida Atlantic softball capped off its senior day celebration by winning the Conference USA regular season championship and sweeping the Western Kentucky University over the weekend.

It marks the first time an FAU team, in any sport, has won a Conference USA championship of any kind — FAU was a member of the Sun Belt Conference until 2013.
