Florida Atlantic coach Lane Kiffin had enough of the talking on Friday morning.
The offense and the defense were jawing at each other after a debatable touchdown call during the 11-on-11 period of practice. The defense thought they stopped running back Devin “Motor” Singletary at the goalline. The offense said he was in.
FAU was not live (did not tackle to the ground) during Friday’s practice, so it was tough to judge where the play was dead.
To quell the trash talking, Kiffin lined up safety Jalen Young on the goalline and put Singletary in front of him.
