Florida Atlantic used a devastating rushing attack and opportunistic defense to pummel Old Dominion 58-28 and hand coach Lane Kiffen his first Conference USA victory Saturday at Foreman Field.

Devin “Motor” Singletary, the reigning Co-C-USA Offensive Player of the Week, notched his fourth straight 100-yard game before halftime and was closing in on the 200-yard mark inside of three quarters. The electrifying sophomore finished with 194 yards and two TDs on the ground.

On this day, though, Singletary was just one of the Owls’ potent rushing weapons on display. Quarterback Jason Driskel ran for four scores - two on runs of 39 and 35 yards - before checking out the game with the Owls up 51-21 early in the fourth quarter.
