Classes have started at FAU, but the Owls still don’t have a starting quarterback.
Following the last scrimmage of the preseason on Saturday, FAU coach Lane Kiffin said the coaching staff had not decided on a starter for the opener against Navy on Sept. 1. De’Andre Johnson, Jason Driskel and Daniel Parr are competing for the starting job.
“No one took the job,” Kiffin said Sunday.
Kiffin said Parr completed 55 percent of his passes on Saturday, while both Driskel and Johnson connected on 45 percent of their attempts.
