Former Florida Atlantic defensive end Trey Hendrickson has signed a four-year contract with the New Orleans Saints, according to a report in The Times-Picayune.
The Saints selected Hendrickson in the third round of April’s NFL draft, making Hendrickson the seventh FAU player ever picked. At pick No. 103, Hendrickson was the third-highest Owl drafted.
According The Times-Picayune, Hendrickson’s contract is worth about $3 million with a signing bonus of $760,000. The Saints also signed former Miami defensive end Al-Quadin Muhammad (sixth-round pick), the report said.
Hendrickson left Boca Raton as arguably the greatest defensive player in Owls history.
