Florida Atlantic will soon have reinforcements for its linebacker corps that finished Saturday’s 42-24 loss to Old Dominion without a middle linebacker on the preseason depth chart.
Miami Booker T. Washington senior linebacker and FAU commit Isaac Readon II affirmed his commitment to the Owls and praised the FAU coaching staff. Readon, at 5-foot-11 and 195 pounds, is rated as a two-star prospect by 247 Sports.
“Coach [Corey] Bell and the rest of the coaching staff are writing me every day, showing me a lot of love,” Readon said after Booker T’s playoff win Thursday night. “They talk to me, told me what my situation was, what I was going to be.
