Late in Florida Atlantic's 35-31 win over UTEP on Saturday, punt returner Henry Bussey muffed a punt and retreated inside the FAU 5-yard line to attempt a return. He got to the 4-yard line.
Coach Charlie Partridge approached Bussey, ready for a chat about decision-making.
"Honestly, I was about to say 'Henry, you need to put that away,' " Partridge said. "The look in his eyes told me I didn't have to say anything."
On the ensuing possession, quarterback Jason Driskel drove the Owls 96 yards in 10 plays for the game-winning touchdown, a 7-yard pass to Nate Terry with 25 seconds left.
