Florida Atlantic’s football team will hold its second scrimmage of preseason camp on Saturday at FAU Stadium. It starts at 1 p.m. and will be open to the public.
The Owls held a scrimmage last Saturday at Liberty City’s Hadley Park, but they were not live, meaning they did not tackle to the ground. FAU coach Lane Kiffin said he anticipated parts of Saturday’s scrimmage would be live, but would have to evaluate the team’s health later Friday afternoon.
Kiffin described Saturday’s scrimmage as “a big evaluation,” noting that he would pay extra attention to the defensive line.
