Owls stick with QB Jason Driskel through 4 turnovers Saturday

Florida Atlantic rode quarterback Jason Driskel through his struggles in the Owls' 63-7 loss Saturday afternoon at Kansas State.

Driskel turned the ball over four times (two interceptions and two fumbles) that led to 21 Kansas State points. He finished 14 of 24 for 125 yards and no touchdowns. The Owls did not insert backup quarterback Daniel Parr into the game until 11:10 remained in the fourth quarter.

Parr directed three drives and attempted four passes. He completed one of them for four yards. Owls coach Charlie Partridge said he did not consider playing Parr earlier in the game.
