Fourteen days before Florida Atlantic opens its season against Southern Illinois, the Owls raided FAU Stadium on Saturday for one of the most important practices of the preseason.
FAU conducted a situational scrimmage that pitted the top units against each other as the final days of camp fade away. The Owls will end camp Wednesday and begin preparation for Southern Illinois on Thursday.
"Today was one of our camp days, obviously it was an important one," FAU coach Charlie Partridge said. "I referenced that yesterday. To say what depth chart decisions have been made, I got to see the film before that.
