Florida Atlantic offensive coordinator Travis Trickett and quarterback Jason Driskel are on the same page: Driskel's season debut Saturday came with plenty of positives, but left room for improvement.
During FAU's 38-30 win over Southern Illinois, Driskel threw for 282 yards and two touchdowns and zero interceptions. He also added 41 yards on the ground.
"There's obviously a lot we can improve on and he has that standard," Trickett said. "He grades himself pretty hard, too. It was a deal where he did a good job of managing and distributing the ball and not locking into one guy and doing what he's supposed to do through his progressions.
