Florida Atlantic held its sixth spring practice of the year on Saturday morning behind the Tom Oxley Athletic Center, ending the second week of spring football.
The Owls have nine practices remaining, including one at Fort Lauderdale’s Carter Park on April 8 at 1 p.m. and the spring game on April 22 at 4 p.m. in FAU Stadium.
Here are some observations:
-- Rapper and Miami native Luther Campbell was at practice Saturday morning.
-- FAU held its first scrimmage of the spring, though Owls coach Lane Kiffin was not happy with the effort from his team.
