The Florida Atlantic defense has faced teams this season that were run-based such as Navy.
It has also lined up against pass-oriented teams like Middle Tennessee State. Now, they are up against perhaps the toughest test.
The Owls will face their most balance offense when they play North Texas at FAU Stadium.
“Really strong passing, really good receiver,” FAU coach Lane Kiffin said. “The quarterback plays really well and they can run it so we’re going to have our hands full. They are arguably the most balanced offense we’ve played all year.
