Florida Atlantic men’s basketball lost at Louisiana Tech 95-69 on Thursday night, picking up its third straight loss to follow up its first three-game winning streak in over two years.
The Owls (8-16, 4-9 Conference USA) led by three with 6:34 remaining in the first half, before the Bulldogs (19-8, 11-3 Conference USA) reeled off a 12-0 run. Louisiana Tech carried a 45-35 lead into halftime.
FAU’s fortunes did not change for the better after the intermission, as the Bulldogs scored 28 of the half’s first 39 points to stretch their lead to 73-47.
