In his third offseason with Florida Atlantic, football coach Lane Kiffin is back to taking a traditional recruiting approach ahead of National Signing Day on Wednesday.
Following his first year leading the Owls, an 11-3 season that ended on a 10-game win streak that included a Conference USA title and Boca Raton Bowl victory, it was a plug-and-play, adding pieces via transfer that could help immediately surrounding junior running back Devin “Motor” Singletary and senior linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair in their final college seasons.
A disappointing 5-7 season followed in 2018.
