Even though Florida Atlantic didn’t deploy its base 4-2-5 defense during its season-opening 42-19 loss to Navy, the Owls were still able to glean a bit about their defense.
During this weekend’s trip to No. 9 Wisconsin, FAU likely won’t be able to primarily rely on its base defense against the Badgers’ power running attack. Wisconsin uses multiple tight ends and mostly works under center in a pro-style offense.
