The Florida Atlantic students wanted to make sure their rock star of a coach received the proper welcoming.
Before Lane Kiffin coached his first game Friday night against Navy at FAU Stadium, a few co-eds decided to carve his likeness into an ice luge. Drinking from the face of the face of the program was the perfect way to start what is expected to be a season that is part football and part bachelor party.
“Everyone liked it,” said FAU senior Billy Battersby, one of the organizers of the pregame tailgate. “Everyone loves Kiffin.”
Battersby and friends went far as taking to Twitter to invite Kiffin to the festivities.
