The biggest obstacle for the Florida Atlantic football team the remainder of the season is to avoid losing focus.
That is the mentality coach Lane Kiffin is trying to emphasize as the Owls prepare to make their postseason push. At 3-3, they are just three wins shy of becoming bowl-eligible. Although Kiffin did not speak with the media Monday, he made sure to address the issue with players during practice.
“Coach was telling us about that today, not looking for conference championships and just focusing individually every day because that’s what got us to where we are now,” linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair said.
