Kain Daub is already making progress in a Florida Atlantic uniform. On Tuesday, he started cramping during practice’s eighth period. On Wednesday, he didn’t cramp until the end of practice.
“So I’m getting there,” Daub said.
Daub, a former Florida State linebacker and top-100 recruit, practiced for the first time with the Owls on Tuesday morning after he was cleared academically.
FAU and coach Lane Kiffin haven’t decided on a landing spot for Daub, though he mostly worked as a stand-up defensive end on Wednesday morning. Daub received snaps with both the first- and second-team defenses.
