Florida Atlantic running back Gregory "Buddy" Howell Jr. may have tied the single-season program record for rushing touchdowns on Saturday, but that is not on offensive coordinator Travis Trickett's mind.
Trickett said pursuit of the record would have no impact on FAU's play-calling in scoring situations.
"Hopefully, it happens and it just happens organically, you don't have to do anything," Trickett said. "There's a reason he's in on the goal line all the time. If we get down there, I wouldn't be shocked if he's down there. That would be record or not because that's what Buddy's really good at.
