BOCA RATON — Lane Kiffin has again dipped into the junior college ranks in hopes of bringing a former Power Five player to Florida Atlantic.
Former Southern Cal defensive lineman Noah Jefferson, who spent last season at JUCO powerhouse Arizona Western, announced via Twitter he’s transferring to FAU. 247 Sports was the first to report the former Trojan was signing with the Owls.
Jefferson’s Twitter profile calls him a “defensive tackle at #TheFAU.” A former four-star recruit from Nevada, Jefferson is immediately eligible to play. Jefferson had 14 tackles and 0.5 sacks in 10 games last season for the Matadors.
