Football: Owls defeat Charlotte 31-12 to finish Conference USA play undefeated

The Owls are just the eighth team in Conference USA history to finish conference play without a loss

With a 31-12 win over the Charlotte 49ers Saturday, FAU football finished Conference USA play undefeated for the first time in school history. They are just the eighth team in Conference USA history to finish conference play undefeated.

The Owls (9-3, 8-0 C-USA) have now won a school record eight straight, which is the best since becoming an FBS program in 2004.
