With the influx of transfer players, Florida Atlantic has welcomed in recent weeks, its signing class from February can be forgotten. The Owls recruiting class that was ranked as the best in Conference USA has been pushed to the periphery.
The group contains some junior college transfers, but also a handful of impact freshmen that are now in Boca Raton. FAU freshmen are not allowed to speak to the media, but their coaches have praised some during preseason practice.
The following five newcomers are expected to contribute this season for the Owls.
WR Willie Wright: The small speedster has drawn praise from all around FAU, with Owls coach Lane Kiffin even labeling him as the biggest playmaker during camp.
