Mike White never expected this to be easy.
He knew replacing one of the top coaches in college basketball history would serve as the ultimate challenge. And it's been exactly that in his first season of replacing Billy Donovan at the University of Florida.
White brings the Gators to South Florida to participate in the annual MetroPCS Orange Bowl Classic. They face Oklahoma State in the marquee game Saturday at Sunrise's BB&T Center. Florida State plays Florida Atlantic in the other matchup.
"It's not going to happen overnight," White said recently.
