Defensive end Trey Hendrickson became the seventh Florida Atlantic player ever drafted, when the New Orleans Saints selected him in the NFL draft’s third round with the No. 103 pick on Friday night.
Coming into the draft, Hendrickson — measured at 6-foot-4 and 266 pounds at FAU’s Pro Day — was expected to be either a third- or fourth-round draft pick. At pick No. 103, Hendrickson is the third-highest Owl ever selected and first since 2015.
