Florida Atlantic's bye week offers the Owls coaches a chance to leave Boca Raton to recruit targets early in the week.
Owls coach Charlie Partridge said the three coordinators (Travis Trickett on offense, Roc Bellantoni on defense and Chris Hurd on special teams) were the only assistant coaches at FAU on Monday. Some assistants would trickle back Tuesday and all would be back Wednesday afternoon to begin game planning for Western Kentucky.
Because defensive line coach Terrance Jamison was recruiting on Monday, Partridge conducted the defensive line meeting, the first positional meeting he's led in a white, he said.
