When he was playing at the weak side spot, he always made sure to learn the other positions. So his move to inside linebacker this season shouldn’t be too much of an adjustment.
“It’s been a lot of responsibility but I’m used to it,” Al-Shaair said. “Even last year, playing WILL I did a lot of play-calling. I always tried to make sure I knew everything on the field. It makes it a little bit easier because now I’m in the position to actually do that.
