A pair of freshman receivers are making it hard for Florida Atlantic coach Charlie Partridge to ignore them during training camp.
While the Owls will most likely start with their experienced receivers, newcomers Tavaris "Pico" Harrison and John Mitchell have caught the attention of the coaching staff. Both have been productive through two weeks of practice.
"Pico Harrison picked up where he left off in the spring," Partridge said. "… (They) are two young guys that are really getting into the fold."
Harrison spent last season as a redshirt. He is a former three-star recruit out of North Miami.
