FAU suspended quarterback Chris Robison rejoins team

It appears the suspension handed down to Florida Atlantic quarterback Chris Robison was short-lived.

Two days after coach Lane Kiffin announced Robison was suspended indefinitely for violating team rules, he was back on the practice field Thursday. At the time, Kiffin hinted the suspension could be lifted “at any day.”

It was the first spring practice for Robison, who is competing with De’Andre Johnson for the starting position. A 6-foot-1, 177-pound sophomore, Robison spent all last season on the scout team because he had to sit out due to NCAA transfer rules.

He initially signed with Oklahoma out of high school before being dismissed for twice violating team rules.
