Florida Atlantic quarterback Daniel Parr received more reps with the first-team offense on Monday morning, as the Owls planned to rotate Parr, Jason Driskel and De’Andre Johnson with the ones.
But Johnson was held out of the team portion of practice due to an injury, meaning Driskel and Parr split time with the first unit. FAU and coach Lane Kiffin are trying to pick a quarterback to lead the Owls into their season opener on Sept. 1 against Navy.
At the beginning of camp, the competition appeared to be a two-man one between the incumbent Driskel and the former Florida State quarterback Johnson.
