The redshirt freshman quarterback grew up in Mesquite, Tex., about 50 miles southeast of Denton, where North Texas’ campus is located. Since graduating high school, his mother has moved a little closer — to Grapevine, which is about 30 miles from Apogee Stadium. That’s where FAU will play the Mean Green in a 9:30 p.m. kickoff on Thursday night.
Robison, the Owls’ probable starter once again, got tickets for more than 50 people, which includes family, friends and high school coaches.
