Florida Atlantic punter Dalton Schomp set a program record for punting yards during FAU's 52-3 loss to Western Kentucky on Saturday.
The redshirt senior broke the previous record for punting yards in a game by racking up 466. He also set a career-high with 10 punts in the game and narrowly missed tying the school record of 11.
Schomp broke Sean Kelly's record of 462 punting yards set in 2013 over 10 punts at Auburn. One more punt would have tied Schomp with Mickey Groody and Andy Rosas for the most in a single game.
Schomp unloaded on a 67-yard punt and also placed three inside the 20-yard line, though he booted three for touchbacks.
