The team motto says everything about what to expect from the Florida Atlantic offense this season.
No Huddle, No Mercy.
That is the philosophy new offensive coordinator Travis Trickett wants to bring to the Owls' program. They want to play at a basketball pace.
"It's just a faster pace," receiver Kalib Woods said. "That's what they've [the coaches] have been saying. Football will always be football. It's just the speed has been the biggest difference."
Trickett is attempting to revitalize an FAU offense that sputtered at times under former offensive coordinator Brian Wright. Trickett spent five seasons at Samford, the last four as the director of the offense.
