Typically, football teams like to avoid a turnover. As Florida Atlantic opened its preseason camp on Thursday morning, the Owls welcomed a reshuffled roster and personnel turnover that figures to still add more names.
On the preseason roster distributed before Thursday’s practice, the Owls had 35 players on it who were not with the team during spring practice. Most were part of FAU’s recruiting class in February, others were late additions and some were preferred walk-ons.
At least 20 players who spent the spring with FAU were not on the preseason roster, including receivers Kalib Woods and Kamrin Solomon.
