Three times during its 52-3 loss to Western Kentucky on Saturday, Florida Atlantic achieved its longest gain of the day. It was 12 yards.
One came on James Brunson's reception on the second-to-last-play of the game. One came on Devin "Motor" Singletary's 12-yard rush in the fourth quarter. One came on Jason Driskel's 12-yard quarterback run in the second quarter. Nothing else gained more than a dozen yards.
It was the only game under FAU coach Charlie Partridge that the Owls did not have at least one play longer than 12 yards, as the offense totaled just 202 yards of offense.
