Middle Tennessee had 12 plays of 20-plus yards and set school records in points and rushing scores on its way to a 77-56 victory at Floyd Stadium and will now await a bowl announcement. FAU, meanwhile, returns home having closed out its third consecutive 3-9 season.
The Blue Raiders (8-4, 5-3 Conference USA) racked up 757 yards of total offense – 495 on the ground with nine rushing scores and 262 through the air.
