FAU leading receiver Kalib Woods charged with two counts of battery

Florida Atlantic wide receiver Kalib Woods was arrested on Tuesday and charged with two counts of felony battery, according to Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office online records.

The school says he has been suspended from the football team indefinitely.

Woods, 22, was booked into Palm Beach County’s Main Detention Center on Tuesday morning at 10:47 a.m. and was held on $50,000 bond. Woods’ arraignment is scheduled for June 27 at 1:30 p.m.

According to online records, the offense occurred on Jan. 13. Information was filed against Woods on May 26, and a warrant for his arrest was signed May 31.
