BOCA RATON — Florida Atlantic may not be ranked in the USA Today Coaches Poll, but another popular outlet believes the Owls are a Top 25 team entering 2018.
For the first time in program history, FAU enters the season ranked in Sports Illustrated‘s annual preseason Top 25 rankings. The Owls are ranked No. 25 after going 11-3 last season and ending the year on a ten-game winning streak.
FAU junior running back Devin Singletary (American Heritage) and senior linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair were each named to the magazine’s Top 100 college football players list in June.
