Florida Atlantic University football players have returned to campus for summer classes and to participate in voluntary workouts.
The collection of returners was joined on Monday by seven newcomers.
The Owls opened their arms to Calvin Ashley (OT), Kelvin Dean, Jr. (RB), Federico Maranges (OL), Larry McCammon III (RB), Rahmod Smith (TE), Adarius Tolliver (OL), and Eddie Williams (LB).
The newcomers are a blend of incoming freshmen and transfers.
Six are expected to contribute on the offensive side of the ball and one on defense.
The majority of the team will be together for the first time in late June.
