FAU foiled in final seconds as Hawaii wins 64-63 in Rainbow Classic

Gibson Johnson scored the game-winner with 6.3 seconds left to lead the Hawaii men's basketball team to a 64-63 win over Florida Atlantic on Tuesday morning in the Rainbow Classic.

Ronald Delph led FAU (0-3) with a game-high 22 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks. It was his fourth career double-double, and Delph was named to the all-tournament team.

Johnson scored the final five points for Hawaii and finished with 13. Noah Allen led the Rainbow Warriors (2-1) with 15 points and 11 rebounds and Sheriff Drammeh added 13 points.

The Owls used an 8-0 run to lead 63-59 with 1:07 left.
