Florida Atlantic defensive line coach Roc Bellnatoni had some extra help instructing the unit during spring practices.
Former Owls Brandin Bryant and Trevon Coley, who are auditioning for NFL teams, spent most of the past month also teaching the basics to those who are following their footsteps. Last year the Owls set the school's single-season sack record with 35, but are hoping to maintain the dominance up front.
"We talk to [Bryant and Coley] all the time," sophomore defensive tackle Steven Leggett said. "They come out here and work with us. We still watch film together. It's really beneficial because you've got the coaches and then you've got the players.
