Coach Lane Kiffin hinted on Sunday that quarterback competition could return to the Florida Atlantic practice field after a second half at Middle Tennessee State that saw the Owls put up just 3 points and blow a 21-3 lead to fall to 2-3 with a 25-24 loss.
If Tuesday’s practice was any indication, however, Kiffin is leaning toward another start for redshirt freshman Chris Robison. Robison worked exclusively with the first-team offense, according to backup Rafe Peavey, who said he practiced with the second team.
