Florida Atlantic quarterback Jason Driskel did not practice Tuesday morning, but FAU coach Lane Kiffin expects the redshirt junior back for Wednesday morning’s session.
Tuesday marked the third practice Driskel has missed since last Thursday. One was due to an academic exam, the other two (Saturday and Tuesday) have been because of injury.
“I think he actually re-aggravated what it was,” Kiffin said. “I think he’ll be fine [Wednesday].”
Driskel has been competing with De’Andre Johnson to be FAU’s starting quarterback, but his absences have opened the door for Daniel Parr to receive some playing time.
