As he continues to put his name in the Florida Atlantic record book, running back Devin “Motor” Singletary has gained a fan.
Singletary, who could break the school single-season rushing touchdown record this weekend, is being cheered on by teammate Gregory Howell Jr. Last year Howell set the record with 13 scores but is a huge supporter of the player who will likely shatter the mark.
“I said it last year,” Howell said. “How he works and his ability and how he plays, he’s going to break a lot of records.”
Singletary has already scored 11 touchdowns, which ranks fourth nationally among Division I-A players, and run for 686 yards.
