It appears that Florida Atlantic may need to create a special assistant position in their football program to make sure their new coach doesn’t miss the team bus.
For the second time in as many years, the Alabama Crimson Tide left their offensive coordinator and future FAU head coach, Lane Kiffin, out in the cold.
Last season, after Alabama won the National Championship against the Clemson Tigers, Kiffin was left behind by the team buses. He later joked that, “First, I get fired on the tarmac, and now I get left behind at the national championship,” a reference to his unceremonious firing from the University of Southern California.
