Defense forces turnovers at FAU spring game as Harrison Bryant, John Mitchell each score twice

Tight end Harrison Bryant scored two touchdowns for his team, wide receiver John Mitchell matched him with two of his own on the other side and there was even an ejection at Florida Atlantic’s spring game at FAU Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Ultimately, a 44-yard attempt at a game-winning field goal went wide left off the foot of kicker Christian Hoyos, and FAU’s Red Team, coached by esteemed longtime NFL defensive coordinator and coach Lane Kiffin’s father, Monte, edged the Grey Team, led by the Owls new defensive coordinator Glenn Spencer, 17-16.
