DeAndre McNeal headlines Florida Atlantic offensive players to watch this spring

BOCA RATON — There were no doubts that Florida Atlantic head coach Lane Kiffin was an offensive mastermind, especially not after his three years as the Alabama Crimson Tide’s offensive coordinator. But like the rest of FAU’s historic 11-3 season under Kiffin, an offense which averaged 40.6 points per game came as a slight surprise.

Under Kiffin and offensive coordinator Kendal Briles, who now holds the same position at the University of Houston, sophomore running back Devin Singletary (American Heritage-Delray) finished 80 yards shy of 2,000 on the season and led Division I with 32 rushing touchdowns. Freshman Willie Wright led the team in catches (56), receiving yards (657), and touchdowns (six), with sophomore tight end Harrison Bryant adding five touchdowns.
