Florida Atlantic’s receiving depth chart continues to shift in the days leading up to the season opener against Navy on Friday night.
D’Anfernee McGriff said he hasn’t been playing as an outside receiver like he did when preseason camp began in late July. Instead, he’s been moved inside the formation to a hybrid h-back role.
“Inside receiver that lines up in the backfield sometimes,” McGriff said. “Get in the backfield in a two-point stance.”
McGriff (listed at 215 pounds but hovers in the mid-230s) is one of the most intriguing players on FAU’s offense.
