Sunday’s rubber match ended in a tie, the first time since for FAU since 2006.
Florida Atlantic baseball’s 3-0 start to the season came to a halt this past weekend, as the team won one out of three games versus Indiana University.
The Owls (4-1-1) dropped the first game on Friday night 8-4, but were able to bounce back Saturday, defeating the Hoosiers (3-3-1) 6-2.
FAU and Indiana were unable to settle their tie-breaker on Sunday, with the game being called after a 6-6 tie through 11 innings, due to Indiana’s traveling schedule.
