BOCA RATON — Though Chris Robison was never on Netflix’s “Last Chance U,” Florida Atlantic head coach Lane Kiffin invoked the hit documentary series’ name when discussing his second-year quarterback.
“You see so many kids that maybe transfer ‘down,'” Kiffin said Thursday, nearly a year after Robison transferred to FAU from Oklahoma. “Whether they’re going there to a junior college or going from a Power Five (school) to a Group of Five (school), sometimes there’s an arrogance factor in there. Watching that show, I’ve noticed that a lot. I keep that in mind and maybe, he had some of that.
